Blanksera Reviews

Free and included with a Shopify plan, with no extra domain cost.

Fast setup: the store can go live immediately and is easy to start testing.

Built-in security: SSL/HTTPS is included automatically.

Good for testing: useful for trial orders, checkout testing, and design experiments.

Permanent backup/admin URL: the subdomain remains available as long as the Shopify account is active.

Less professional branding because the URL shows myshopify instead of a custom brand.

Lower customer trust since some shoppers associate the subdomain with starter or less-established stores.

Weaker SEO potential compared with a custom domain, especially in competitive searches.

Harder to build a unique brand identity when many stores share the same Shopify-based structure.

Cannot be changed once created, so the subdomain name is effectively locked in.
